A two-channel tube amp, two custom 4x12 cabinets and 28 pedals on your laptop: straight to the desk, the same on every stage and no head or cab to carry. Free, and it never expires.
Not a 14-day trial and not a stripped-down sound: the amp, the cabinets and all 28 pedals, complete.
The free and paid versions sound exactly the same. It's written into the license.
What you record is yours: upload it, sell it or play it live. No royalties, no permission needed.
No account, no connection, and it never sends a single byte from your computer.
Why leave the amp at home
For the player on tour, the one in a bar that wants the volume down, the one at church on in-ears or the one practicing in an apartment at midnight: the problem is almost never the sound, it's everything you have to haul and tweak to make it happen.
Valvex Live · try it right here
This is the Live mode window, exactly as you'll have it. Recall your sounds, edit them with a right-click, stomp the footswitches, switch to the stage view and open the tuner: everything the licence does, before you pay a cent.
A silent demo with example sounds. To hear it, download the free version: it sounds exactly like Live.
Two versions, one program
Both sound exactly the same. Live adds what you need to play live, and it unlocks inside the same program with a key, nothing to reinstall.

Your full rig
The same path your signal takes on stage: the pedals that push, the amp, the miked-up cabinet and the ambience effects at the end. All in one window.

In front of the amp
Overdrive, distortion, fuzz, compressor, wah, octaver and a pitch shifter that drops your tuning without touching the pegs.

The amp
LEAD for hard rock, metal and solos. CLEAN for full-bodied cleans that hold up when you dig in.
Meet the amp
The cabinets
Recorded by us and exclusive to Valvex. Three mics, and you can put the mic anywhere on the cone.

After the amp
Chorus, phaser, delay, reverbs and EQs, after the cabinet, where they stay clean.
See the effectsThe pedalboard
Each one with its own sound and its own knobs, like a real pedalboard. Five in front of the amp and five after it, in whatever order you like.
Getting started
Six starting points to get you sounding great in a minute. After that, every knob is there to be turned.
The classic trick: the overdrive in front with the drive low and the level high. Palm mutes hit tight and the gate kills the noise between riffs.
LEAD with the gain at noon: a crunch that follows how hard you pick. Kick on the Spike for the solo and the amp starts to sing.
The clean channel with a transparent drive in front: fat when you play soft, breaking up right when you dig in. The spring reverb does the rest.
The compressor makes every note pop, and the filter opens up with your pick: the harder you play, the more it talks.
Gentle chorus, tape delay and a reverb that climbs an octave on every pass. Trails that never end.
Bend drops your whole guitar a whole step, chords included, without changing strings or touching the pegs. And you keep your usual tone.
Bring your own sound
Already have a sound you love? Bring it. Valvex loads your NAM captures and impulse responses with no limit, in the free version too, and puts them together with everything it has.
Any amp in .nam
As many captures as you like, in place of the amp head. With our pedals in front and our cabinets behind.
Inside the Imprint pedal
A capture of your favorite pedal joins the board as one more, with Drive, Tone and Level, right in front of the amp.
On cab A or cab B
Drag your impulses onto the cabinet and they play in place of ours. Blend two of yours, or one of yours with one of our 4x12s.
